Hi-Fi Murals - Community

Here we have the community page which features community projects for the RESTART program, community centres, schools, and any non-profit organizations.

From July 15th to 20th, 2007 Milan, alongside fifteen talented graffiti artists from Vancouver, San Francisco, San Diego and Texas collaborated to paint a mural for the Steve Nash Foundation charity for children. This mural coincided with the Steve Nash Charity Classic Basketball Tournament on July 21st, 2007. This mural is located on the 600 block of Beatty Street between Dunsmuir and Georgia across from the BCR armouries (where the tanks are). The project for all intents and purposes is finished although there are some details to be attended to, so it will be at that time that all of the finished images will be posted. Until then we have a selection of images you may browse for now.

In the future we will be bringing you photos and information on the RESTART program as well as other community projects I have been involved with, hang on to your seats!

Here are some photos from what's now called the Beatty Wall, previously known as the Steve Nash Mural.
Above is a picture of Milan putting some finishing touches on the "choir" piece. To the right is an image of Krewz sketching out the letter "C" in a collaboration with Sez. Below are some photos of other pieces that make up the wall and we'll be bringing you more photos in the near future on the completion of the mural, this being decided by weather of course.
